Featured Mom: Catalina
Today and tomorrow we will be featuring two Featured Moms. My two very best and oldest friends Catalina and Kacey.
Catalina is up first. We met in the 6th grade and have been best friends ever since! Catalina is an amazing woman, she is a mom of two, Rit her son (also known as Boo Boo) is 2 1/2 and her baby girl Caylee is 8 months. Catalina works full time as a very successful Dentist running her own practice. Her husband, also named Rit (hence the nickname Boo Boo for little Rit), is a builder and has his own building company called Ridgewater Homes. The pictures were taken at their gorgeous new home right before Catlina, Kacey and I headed out for a girls night dinner, Caylee included too of course! Here’s what Catalina is wearing . . .

I asked Catalina two questions:
Running a successful dental practice and raising two children makes you superwoman! What are your tips for staying sane while doing it all and do you have any advice to working moms trying to juggle it all?
As far as work and the kids, I just do my best and organization is the key. I've had to learn how to pass off responsibilities at work and have a staff that knows my family is the most important part thing to me. With the support of them, Rit and my family we manage to schedule our days so that I can still work and enjoy my career (that I love) and still finish in time to pick up Boo from school and have time at home with him and Caylee whom I love even more.
Being married to a builder and just completing your new amazing custom home, what part of the process involved planning the home around two children?
Now the house was definitely challenging to build while Caylee was so little and Rit was a toddler. I had to trust Rit which was easy since I knew he would give us a beautiful home. We had a decorator that helped me confirm the ridiculous amount of decisions I had to make which I really needed during my hormonal times in the pregnancy and right after. I let Boo pick out everything for his room which was so fun because he loves to show it off to everyone who comes to visit. He is so proud! I had fun with Caylee's room and made it everything I would want as a little girl.
