We have big news . . .

Conrad and I have some big news . . .

 

No it's not what you think, despite a friend thinking Conrad might get a sibling soon from the way my shirt hangs in this post. Conrad and I are taking our first trip just the two of us to Carmel, California this Monday! We will be staying with my friend Linsay and her family. Linsay's little boy Owen is one of Conrad's best friends so I know we'll have a great time. And my friend Linsay has AMAZING style and has opted to be our next Featured Mom. I have a feeling we'll get some great pics to share! Plus my husband, Brandon's, aunt and uncle live there so we will get to visit some family as well.

Honestly I'm excited and stressed. I'm not entirely sure how I'll make it through the airport with our Bugaboo stroller (planning to gate check) and car seat (a must to keep Conrad in his seat)! Possibly rigging up the carseat as a backpack? We fly in to San Jose then an 1 1/2 drive to Carmel, again just the two of us! I'll let you all know how it goes! While we're away for just 4 days I've got posts set up from Conrad and I pictured last week.
