Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park - Part 1

On this morning Conrad and I had an open house visit for the school he will be attending a few days a week in September. I chose my super old Burberry shirtdress as my most appropriate parent/teacher outfit. After the open school day I asked Conrad if he would like to go see a waterwall park and take pictures. He excitedly said yes and off we went!

The Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park or what I’ve simply referred to as “The Waterwall” all my life is a big tourist destination in Houston. It sits across from the Williams Tower (formerly the Transco Tower) building in the Galleria area. I’ve seen people get proposed to here and witnessed many family photos. But I myself had never taken photos here.

Williams Tower is the 4th-tallest in Texas, the 22nd-tallest in the United States, and the 102nd-tallest building in the world. This is amazing to me since it’s not in Downtown making it, of course, the tallest building outside of Downtown Houston.

We got so many great pics that I had to split this into two posts! Here’s part 1 of what we are wearing for our adventure . . .

 

Sometimes I replace the shirtdress belt with an Hermes scarf but am so glad I didn’t on this day as we got a bit wet from The Waterwall!
